I NEED Help going to College

I am a homemaker in Lancaster, SC.  I can' get a grant or loan anywhere thanks to previous credit history and hard times in the past and I really need to go to college.  Why do I say need to go??  Well I have worked dead end jobs all my life, and I had to quit in 2003 due to illness, and when I applied for disability they denied me.  Well 4 years later, after pysical therapy and many doctors visits that depleated our account and lives, we are stuck.  My husband has a job he hates and refuses to leave because we need some kind of money coming in and we cant live without it.  I need to go back to college because I want to get a degree in business so I wont have to worry about working a dead end job and having to keep hearing, "we hired someone eles, since you havent worked in 4 years!".   PLEASE HELP.  Advice, anything is welcome.  Thank you.

As someone that does this for a living I find it hard to believe that you can't get a grant to go back to school. There are grants and scholarships galore for people who want to go back to school to get a degree. First of all you have to realize that government grant programs do not depend on your credit history! Being that I am someone that does a lot of grant research I can tell you that there are programs out there that help financially with people who want to return to school and get their degree. You have to get online and start looking for these programs. There are a lot of them out there and some of them go wanting because nobody applies for them. You have to go online and find these financial programs - they won't come to you - you have to go to them.
